Chad Hughes is LandSolutions’ President and CEO.

He has 26+ years of land access industry experience. Through this time in the industry, Chad has negotiated valuable outcomes for clients across a wide range of complex land access situations. However, in the last decade, Chad's focus has been on building a more diverse and sustainable LandSolutions.

A natural entrepreneur at heart – something he credits to his upbringing on a mixed family farm – Chad’s abilities and experience help him to identify opportunities and find paths forward for realizing them. Through all interactions, his focus is on relationship building and thoughtful interpersonal engagement, which, complemented by his industry knowledge, enables him to lead the LandSolutions team towards an even greater future.

Chad is the co-author of two books. The first was published in 2018, titled Purpose, Passion, & Profit, and the second, Bringing Value, Solving Problems, and Leaving a Legacy, was published in 2021.

In addition to his writing, Chad is the host of the podcast "Elevated-Access: The Inside Story," in which he creates an environment for discussing the access required for energy and infrastructure developments across Canada and the United States with subject matter experts and industry thought leaders.

Chad is also a designated Land Acquisition and Management Professional, a graduate of the Olds College Land Acquisition and Management program, and holds an MBA from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary.
